College students! Are you looking for a unique way to grow in your faith and develop as a leader? Join us as we study the Bible together online! Starting this Fall we'll be looking at stories where God shows up in the midst of everyday circumstances. Plus, we'll be using what we learn from these sessions to help us create our next “Bible Study in a Box”, so not only will you get an awesome experience studying scripture, you'll get to help build this resource other college students will use with their friends!

What's in the Box? 

The main feature of the box is the Seven Signs Bible Study Guide, walking through seven of Jesus' miracles in the Gospel of John. We've used this study with college students for many years and seen students encounter Jesus in powerful ways. Check out the first study!

​The box also includes others resources to get you started, including printouts of each scripture passage for participants. And of course, there are some extras we'll keep as a surprise!

How You'll Grow

Learning to Love Your Campus

Sometimes it's hard to think of ways to show God's love to our friends on campus. We have a desire to care for our friends, but often don't know where to start. Through leading the Bible Study in a Box and weekly sessions with your coach, you'll gain practical skills and ideas for how to love your corner of campus well, building authentic relationships and learning how to share your faith genuinely. ​

Caring for Your Friends

As we invest in you through coaching and training, you'll learn how to develop others to become passionate Jesus-followers and spiritual leaders on campus. What if you not only launched a Bible study, but also developed a generation of spiritual leaders who will reach every corner of your campus?

Receiving Leadership Training

We offer statewide trainings for our leaders each semester, as well as annual regional conferences that will help you go deeper with Jesus and further sharpen your leadership skills.

“I never thought I would be someone to lead Bible studies until joining Intervarsity. I had always assumed that there were “those” Christians who led Bible studies, and everyone else was supposed to be the “learners” and follow along. After lots of prayer and encouragement from staff, especially since I’m a nursing student, I felt called to become a member of the core team, where I learned that everyone is capable of leading Bible studies!

What I love about leading Intervarsity Bible studies is the inductive method. You aren’t given a “prompt” or anything that boxes you into interpreting a certain message from scripture. You get to process the word yourself, just as God intended for us to do. The best part is, when you lead a Bible study, you get to hear everyone else’s authentic perceptions of the word and compare it to your own from when you prepped for the study—it really challenges you to think outside of the “Sunday school” box! God has so much to say in scripture, and one set of eyes can’t see all of the beautiful complexity that is God’s word!”
